In your daily life you come across different people. These people sometimes may make you angry. That person could be your parents, your husband, your colleague, your boss, the cab driver, bus conductor, anyone. To control the situation you keep mum at that moment. But your mind keeps brooding over that incident continuously. “How could he say that?” “How could she behave like that?” you ask these and similar kind of other questions to yourself. The person on whom you were angry has gone and you are still hurting yourself by brooding over that incident. This is not only about anger. Some situation may also frustrate you in life. You like someone but could not dare to tell that to him or her. I think everyone come across such stressful situations. There are lots of things, lots of emotions continuously running in our mind. To get rid of it or get relax just express all these things in front of someone. Here expression means you want someone who just listen to whatever you have said without being judgmental (Even though it may sound correct or wrong). You don't want any suggestions, any comments from that person.
In your life, you can decide, who that person is. He may be the person with whom you feel comfortable, you trust on him and feel free with him. He could be your best friend, your boyfriend or girlfriend, your parents, your life partner or any other person. Even if you could not find any such person, which is the rare case, take a paper and write down all the things in your mind. If you want to curse or to abuse someone write that too. After saying everything to him/her or after writing on the paper, you well definitely feel relaxed. So find out that special someone who can listen to you and also be a listener to someone. This is not the great secret but the simple thing to do. Try it if you have not tried it as yet!
